CD Player

So I wanted to get a small cd player for the nursery to play different lullaby music and a book on cd that we received. I thought that I would check to see if anyone had one on Freecycle before going to the store to buy one. Well I posted an ad and earlier in the week and I heard back from someone on Friday. Cass and I went and picked it up on Saturday and I think that it looks great on our son's bookshelf.

Well when we got home I sent the gentleman that gave us this cd player the above picture as well as a thank you note. And this was his response:

Danielle,

You know, I'm really glad you posted that it was for your baby. It
actually belonged to my wife, who passed away 6 weeks ago after a long
battle with leukemia. Might sound corny, but I feel better knowing
that "new life" will be enjoying it as much as my darling wife Rose did.
