Unless something changes, this is the onesie that our son will be wearing home from the birth center:

Now that it is getting hotter and I am getting further along, I have decided that there are two things that I can no longer do:

1. Not drink enough water
2. Eat Vietnamese Food - it's delicious but way too much sodium

Case in point:

So now I am off to go chug down some water and prop up my feet!

Baby Shower

We wanted to post some pictures from our Baby Shower that we had on June 27th. The girls had a great time and we were really blessed by the friends and family members that were able to come.

Belly shot - almost 33 weeks.

These are Cass' adorable overalls and blanket that he used when he was a baby. (Lisa's best friend made the blanket for him and now our son will get to use it too).

Mr. Bill was nice enough to bring Ms. Lorraine to the shower. Ms. Lorraine was my grandmother's most dearest friend. (They had been best friends since grade school).

Our Beautiful Bassinet

Cass and I have finished putting together our beautiful bassinet that our son's Great Aunt Micki so lovingly purchased for him.

One of the really neat features of this bassinet is that it not only vibrates but it also has three Musical Melodies, two Nature sounds and 1 womb sound to gently lull our child to sleep.

Getting the Nursery Ready

Cass and I have been working hard to get the new nursery ready. First we had to take everything out of the spare bedroom as this room is our new office. Then we had to take everything out of the old office, which is now the nursery. So far we have put together a bookcase, a dresser and a changing table, which we purchased at IKEA. We still are trying to figure out the placement of the furniture, which has been a bit frustrating but hopefully we will figure out where everything should go soon. We are still waiting on the rest of the crib to be delivered, which should be in about two weeks. After we put the crib together then we will add all of the finishing decorative touches. We can't wait to see how the finished product will look!

Here are some pictures of our work in progress:

These are before pictures of Cass' desk, our bookcase, and Danielle's desk.

Above: Here is a picture of Cass working hard to remove the cable wire from the nursery. (He had to pull it up from the carpet).
